Jesus told the Parable of the Sower to teach us that we must walk close to God. When we walk closely with God, we grow in understanding because God reveals the mysteries of heaven to us. When we have a close walk with God, the promise of the Kingdom of God will help us endure difficult times and not get distracted by the riches of this world that does not last.
